Harsh House Announces Formation of Harsh House Label in New York City

The Harsh House...long the production collective and facilities for
ConDemek is announcing its plans to form a label with initial releases
scheduled for this fall.
The focus of the label will be genre-bending sound experimentation in all forms much in the tradition of ConDemek. The first release, scheduled for December, will be the solo CD by ConDemek/ Harsh House founder, Damian Catera entitled Process, Object, Intuition. This CD consists of five pieces for algorithmically transformed guitar..."something that should appeal to hard core noise heads and computer music enthusiasts alike", according to Catera. Production is also underway for a video release entitled "Chaos Chronicles" which features performance footage shot on the recent ConDemek US tour. Besides ConDemek, performances by PBK (Acclimate w/ Artemis K) and possibly Otomo Yoshide will be included.
The Harsh House label will soon offer
online purchasing as well as the option to purchase releases from their new
